Glaucoma Charity Programme

Ionspec Foundation is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) whose first mission is to support people living with glaucoma. Since 2012 the Foundation has run the global <Find Glaucoma> campaign with the goal of <donating 1 million pairs of medical glasses> to glaucoma patients. Over 12 years we have visited more than 20 countries and 200 cities and held over 2,000 large glaucoma charity talks, offering free intraocular pressure (IOP) tests and giving IONSPEC medical glasses to glaucoma patients. So far we have donated nearly 400,000 pairs to help patients lower their eye pressure, and helped more than 1 million people understand glaucoma and the harm it does to sight.
